Xbox One Controller Not Working
-
Xbox one elite will be supported in the next release 4.1

Thanks. Any reason why the normal Xbox One controller wouldn't work? I've tried both models - one with the 3.5mm jack and one without.
Is there any special configuration or process required? The Xbox light is lit on the controller like it has connected ok but I can't navigate the menus. It is the only controller connected.
All of the 360 controllers work fine when they are connected (I have enabled xboxdrv and disabled ps3).

Because Microsoft is a stupid manufacturer, and each time it release a new firmware or controller version, breaks the compatibility. So we have to patch driver.

@rockaddicted Thanks again for your help!

Any chance that this controller will be supported in the next update too?
Thank you

humm it is a standard xboxone gamepad ?
So, yes should be compatible on 4.1, but ONLY in USB mode. -
The XBox One Controller without the 3,5mm Jack works fine with usb cable for me. Without any configuration-orgy
After reading your post, i tried it out with my elite controler (including last firmware update) and it works also fine.
Maybe important: i have removed the batteries before. My Recalbox Version is 4.0, it runs on a raspi 3.

Thanks, @rockaddicted.
Should I take this to mean that the updated drivers for the Xbox One S controller in Bluetooth mode are also expected to come in 4.1?
One more thing: I noticed that using an Xbox One S controller (this one) via USB locks up my recalbox 4.0 running on rpi3. Is this known?

I also have 2 PowerA mini Xbox one usb controllers.. One Black and one skylander blue... The black one works perfect.. the blue one shows up in the list but no matter what buttons i hold or push it will not configure the controller..
Model: 1429930-01
Thanks for all the amazing work and maybe a fix for this -
