Xbox 360 Controller for Windows is the same as the regular wired xbox 360 controller?
-
I searched but didn't see any topic about it and most topics where in languages that I don't understand. But I think about getting a original wired xbox360 controller but the only one I see on Dutch webshops is the one for Windows, but is that one also working with Recalbox?

the wired "xbox 360 for windows" is a standard xbox 360 controller that has a usb plug. that way you can just plug in into your pc or raspberry and you're good to go.
i got one of those here myself. works great.
just make sure that the controller is an original microsoft product like this one ( https://www.amazon.de/Xbox-Controller-geeignet-Windows-schwarz/dp/B004JU0JSK/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1483134994&sr=8-3&keywords=xbox+360+controller+usb )
cheers

But why got it software? Or is this just to make it work on Windows? And thats by the way the one I was talking about, indeed the original one from Microsoft.

what do you mean by "software"? there are official drivers but the controller works as is by just plugging it in (at least on windows 7 and up to windows 10)

Ok I guess the included "software" are the drivers, as the Dutch Microsoft site says at required specs: 10 MB free space (and 128 MB RAM and minimum 300 MHz Pentium processor)
