mame2010

@Substring sadly i dont, ill have to wait for the new update.
-
@vintageplay2016 just copy mame2010_libretro.so into /usr/lib/libretro/
and then you can either change the mame version in the recalbox.conf to mame2010 instead of mame078, or you can go into specific games and hit the SELECT button then EDIT THIS GAME...> and change the core there. -
@metahacker where i can find mame2010_libretro.so? Im already search everywhere.

@gkralicek2 I put it in right folder, but its not working for me.

@alexander-tolstykh What do you mean it's not working ?
After you placed the file mame2010_libretro.so (contained in the ZIP) in the /usr/lib/libretro folder, what did you do ?
The core needs to be declared in the system to be usable. If you don't want to bother modifying conf files, the best and simplest way to achieve integration of mame 2010 is to replace imame4all with it (imame4all is of very little use compared to mame 2003 (aka 078) at least regarding games supported) .
In the folder usr/lib/libretro, spot the file named imame4all_libretro.so and rename it to imame4all_libretro.bak, then rename your file mame2010_libretro.so into imame4all_libretro.so and you're done !When you need to execute a specific game using mame2010, select it in the list, then hit SELECT button and "EDIT THIS GAME" option and in the drop-down list of libretro cores for mame select mame4all. Save your modifications and .... VoilĂ :=)

@alexander-tolstykh did you go to a specific ROM on the gamelist screen and hit COIN (aka SELECT) button, and then edit "metadata" and change the core settings to LIBRETRO/MAME2010?
its working fine for me this way...now i can play TAPPER
however, my P2 joystick input is ignored....not sure the solution yet... -
i take that back.....the P2 input problem seems to be limited to the Xenophobe ROM...all input seems to work fine for other games (like Altered Beast)

@gkralicek2 Hi, thanks for this reply, but I would like to know which configuration file to modify to add the mame2010 core to the list of cores without having to replace it with imame4all. It's possible?? I have added the file mame2010_libretro.so to the folder /usr/lib/libretro but it does not appear in the list of cores ...
Thanks in advance...

@petroutsos just be a little patient, it's ready on our side

@substring Of course, thank you...
