Actually, I also want to change audio language, change subtitle language, etc.
There should be a context menu during movie play, but I cannot access it using a game controller. 
I tried every combination I could think of!
Am I missing something obvious?
I am also facing this Problem, i cant find the context menu for changes like aspect Radio, Sound, etc... Is there some hidden button Combo?
On a keyboard,
T turn on/off subtitle,
L switch next subtitle,
M show the menu,
I can't remember if those key are mapped on the pad
you have to check the file : recalbox/share/system/.kodi/userdata/keymaps/remote.xml
and
recalbox/share/system/.kodi/userdata/Lircmap.xml
and configure with : http://kodi.wiki/view/keymap
You can also use the android app kore on you smartphone
