Scraping issues

For some reason, games with punctuation don't scrape. Examples are B.O.B., Eek! The Cat. I opened a Github issue about it.

Also, why the heck can't I scrape the game "Hit the Ice?" here is the TGDB link where it clearly states that the name is "Hit the Ice" but I have no idea why it won't come up in the ES scraper. Any ideas?

The scrapper embedded in es is not reliable at all. A well known unscrappable game is F-zero ... There are a few tools around here to scrape : fullscrape ans UXS

That's too bad. Is there any attempt to improve this behavior?

No, as we have some workarounds that work much better. The internal scraper is not stomething we expect to spend time on

@Dinierto yes indeed. UXS author is on the forum : it's a windows software. Fullscrape is from missa and there is a pinned topic on the forum on how to use it
