problem switching 240p 480i playstation games w Pi2scart

I'm using recalbox 9.1 on Raspberry Pi4 and Pi2scart.
Everything works fine except some PS1 games. Games start and always remain in 240p even when the games should show a resolution of 480i. For example in Silent Hill the start menu and inventory should be shown in 480i but the emulator shows them in 240p creating ugly aliasing effects. Is this just happening to me or is it a known issue? Thank you
