  • I changed emulator from snes9x to pocketsnes, but on some roms there ase graphical issue (es: stunt race fx). On retropie with snes9x works well, i do not understand if it's a recalbox bug or not. There is a way to avoid this error with snes9x plugin? Thanks for help.

    In snes9x , multitap is enable by default Go to retroarch menu (hotkey +b) and disabled multitap

  • Sorry, but i don't find multitap option in snes9x retroarch menu..please where is this option? I press hotkey+b and....? Help me, thanks.

    Menu retroarch > hotkey+b settings > configuration > save configuration on exit > on be careful, any change in retroarch be supported use per-game core option > on load remap files automatically > on quick menu > core input options > user 2 device type > multitap to joypad save game remap file hotkey + b to exit hotkey+start > to exit reload game.

  • I made all the changes . The game started , but when reloading the game presents the same problem . In the quick menu to the second user puts multitap again. When I click on save remap file , saving takes place , but not charging . In the entry load remap file appears the name of the game. It should be correct . To start the ROM every time I have to get in quick menu and remove multitap , then the game works . Thanks for help . Maybe it's a bug ... at least for now I can play waiting for a recalbox update bug . I tried to use another emulator but there are bugs graphics in many games . Snes9x is more compatible than that bug .

    • Snes9x put multitap as second player and the games don't run. I change in the menu snes but don't save this. If i change the game run. It's a bug. Please resolve this bug !!!!

    multitap is enable by default in recalboxOS. I have test again and I have no bug with remap per game. Make sure with options actived :

    Menu retroarch > hotkey+b settings > configuration > save configuration on exit > on be careful, any change in retroarch be supported use per-game core option > on load remap files automatically > on quick menu > core input options > user 2 device type > multitap to joypad save game remap file hotkey + b to exit hotkey+start > to exit reload game.

    I have try with : Super Mario RPG – Legend of the Seven Stars. Yoshi island Kirby dreamland Kirby superstar Visionner l'image Visionner l'image

  • I made all the changes as you listed. Leaving no stone unturned everything perfect, but it still leaves the screen and does not store the parameters despite loading gives the word "load remap". I thank you for the help, but I do not know what else to do. It seems that not even remembers if I enabled the "save on exit" option as in your photos.

  • Another photo for snes problem...sigh...

    It seems that not even remembers if I enabled the “save on exit” option as in your photos.

    this option is required if you want other options work what game do you try ?

  • Hello waits the beta4 that will be available tomorrow, updates the system and retest that. We have updated retroarch version in beta4, and now, remap option should work perfectly 😉

  • Ok thanks. I wait beta4 and retest snes9x. Tomorrow? Ok 🙂   For acris...yes, i enabled save on exit. But remap not work.

  • Sorry Rock, but the beta 4? I not found it...

    You need to make in recalbox.conf : unstable

    # ------------ G - UPDATES ------------ #
    ## Automatically check for updates at start (0,1)
    updates.enabled=1
    # default : stable ; set to beta to get the next version currently beeing tested. set to unstable at your own risk to get the developpment version.
    updates.type=unstable

    save and reboot make update and edit again to updates.type=stable

  • Thanks 🙂 now snes is ok 😉

  • I know this is one old post but I need some advice. I use snes9x emulator, and I want to change the settings but they don't save. When I reopen the emulator its the old settings and I need to configure them again, and sometimes while playing games the sounds is missing? I play all the ROMs with Snes9x Emulator if anyone read this I wait for the replay.
