Dragonrise USB Encoder Issue Recalbox 9.1 RGB Dual
-
Hi Everyone,
i'm using recalbox 9.1 with RGB Dual but i'm having an issue that i cant solve with Dragonrise USB encoder. I can remap all the buttons without problems and in the main menu everything works fine. But when i'm opening some game, i've tried with mame, naomi, snes and FBA, none of the buttons that i've remapped works. Everything seems to be mapped in a completely different way. For example, in mame, instead of "select" buttons for coins, i had to use the button that should be "A" and so on. I'm very frustrated cause i cant find a way to solve this issue. Anyone can help me?
Thank you -
Hello @MaxPower
It's a known bug and it should be resolved in the next release -
Thank you @Scavy.
Waiting for the new release.
I have a similari issue with 3A jamma to USB converter. Input signal Is detected and i can start the controller configuration but once in the configuration settings none of the button or Stick works. Wiring Is ok. Could this be a 9.1 issue too?
Thank you again -
@Scavy Hi there, has it been resolved? I installed recalbox using the raspberry pi installer today, so I assume it would be the latest version, but I am still having the same issue.
Thanks!

@SmallBaguette We are still on the 9.1 version.

Hi! I had the same issue here.
What I did is to configure the hotkey too (I need to use the "coin"/"select" button again)
It helped me making combination of keys (hotkey+"x"/"b" ) to enter retroarch menu.
There I've found the "controller settings" where I edited configuration for a single game saving the file (all managed by retroarch interface). It also let you save the file for all the folder of the emulator so every game using that one will use that configuration.
Wow. What a great deal!Well. I did it for PCSX_Libretro (for PSX games).
Now I got the same issue with PSP but I cannot even enter the retroarch interface because PSP opens a "saving" menu and avoid me to get the controllers configs.
So... I tried with doing it manually in the folder "\RECALBOX\share\system.config\retroarch\config\remaps" but need to know how to call the folder indeed. As for psx the name is "PCSX_Libretro" as the emulator, it doesn't seem to work in the same way for "PPSSPP". So saaaad.
If anyone could help... -
@nosokey said in Dragonrise USB Encoder Issue Recalbox 9.1 RGB Dual:
PCSX_Libretro
I wrote wrong. I mean "PCSX-ReARMed" as folder name
