Combining external/internal storage at the same time

Hello everybody! I have seen that the new release (4.0.0beta2) incorporates the "external storage" option in the menu. If you select this opction, recalbox will format your external devices to create a partition wiht the "share" structure. Now, I am using a 32Gb microSD for internal storage, and it is full of roms. I would like to play N64 and PSX but I do not have more storage space. It would be possible to create soft links in the PSX and N64 folders pointing to external storade? The external storage contains only roms for PSX and N64. What are the best ways to combine both kind of storage? Thank you so much!
