Should I leave space on my hard drive...?

Hi,

I am running Recalbox 8 on my PC and I am using a 1 TB SSD. I have it packed with roms with less than a few gigs left. I have read a few different places that you should leave some empty space on your hard drive somewhere around 10% of the space. Is that true?

So why didn't you ask Goggle

Well I did read up on it and there are a lot of different answers to the question, so I thought I would ask the forum.
