      When I go to scrap, the screen goes blank and does not come back....why? what is wrong? Everything else seems to work ok.

        @gjbnh Read This:

        • https://forum.recalbox.com/topic/24634/scraper-does-not-download-coverart-when-there-is-a-colom-in-the-gamename/6

        Use an external software, we recommend Skraper or ARRM:

        • Skraper:

          @zing Doesn't seem to apply...no roms have a ":" in them...but thanks....again, to be clear, the screen goes "blank" when I run internal scaper...and am already running SKraper 🙂

            @zing How do you use Skraper? Skraper is a Windows based system...how does it access a linux partition on a usb stick on the SAME computer??? It's where my recalbox installation is....

              Skraper is a Windows based system...

              Skraper has versions for Windows and Linux. ARRM only has a Windows version.

              how does it access a linux partition on a usb stick

              I don't exactly understand your question, but both Skraper and ARRM are external tools, so you will need to install it on an operating system other than Recalbox. If you have Windows, you can choose between any of the software, if you have Linux, only Skraper will help you.
              If you use the usb stick in the recommended format (exfat) both Windows and Linux will recognize the usb stick and you will be able to operate normally...

                @zing My Skraper is installed in Windows...Recalbox is installed on a USB stick. Skraper does not "see" the L:nux SHARE partition as a result...remember this all on the same system. If it was 2 DIFFERENT system on the same network I could use network share...but it is not.
