USB adapter issues after update to 7.2.1
-
Because of the chipset my USB adapter uses doesn't properly enable UASP I've had to add
usb-storage.quirks=152d:1561:u
to my cmdline.txt so it doesn't take five or more minutes to finish booting. But with the latest update cmdline.txt was nuked and adding it back does make it faster, but it seems slower than it was previously. Plus sometimes menus hang up when the drive is being accessed. As it is now I added it to the end/second line past all the text that's already on cmdline.txt. Is there a better place to insert something like this in the line? Like at the start instead of the end where I have it now so it's enabled sooner or more readily?
Thanks!
7.2.1 is looking like a very nice update btw.

Is there a better place to insert something like this in the line? Like at the startI confess that I am not sure about this, but, researching it, it seems that this command line is always added at the beginning of the file cmdline.txt, not at the end.
See if it helps:

@zing That was indeed it. I was afraid there might have been an order to things and there kind of is. But it's best to put that first I guess.
