Click on Game but never starts

Hi all!

I'm brand new to using Recalbox. I have everything installed and all my game options show up but when I choose a game and click to launch it, the screen goes black for a few seconds and then it jumps back to the main menu. The game never plays.

Any advice would be very appreciated. Thank you!

I got the same problem! Everything worked fine,I played mame, md, snes and c64 games without problem, then I didn't use my system for 2 weeks (pi3b+ with roms in an usb stick inside a pandora case) and now I can't start any game, and the system even does not shut off, but freezes (see the pic)
