Recalbox on 64 bit pc will not work with 5GB of ram but works with 32 bit pc? help?

Both pc's will run with 4gb of ram but my 64bit pc will not run 5gb eventhough my 32 bit pc runs perfectly fine with 5gb of ram. Help please?
