Amiga 1200 black screen issue & gameslist.xml

Hello there,
Apologies if this has already been answered but i have searched High and low and cannot seem to find an answer to my problem.
I have the amiga 1200 unzipped whd load files in their folders with their corresponding .uae file.
they did not appear on my list and when i checked my folders my gameslist.xml was nowhere to be seen and it hasn't automatically created one.
i copied a gameslist.xml from an old backup i had which now the games appear on my menu screen, but when i load amiberry i just get a blank screen. roms have been put in the bios folder and named correctly.
can someone please assist as i am just not sure what i am doing wrong.

@amigagirl86 maybe you are in gamelist only mode ? because games should appear without gamelist.
anyway amiga games in decompressed folder with uae alongside do not appear to work fine anymore, the preferred method is to use lha or zip format wich the native format of most whdl collections

@voljega doees that mean i do not need to add a .uaefile or unzzip my whdload roms?

@voljega well Ive just moved them directly into the folder all zipped up and it has worked thank you!!!
it might be worth them updating the Readme file as it takes you to the old process and also putting in the new Rom names..
