Controller lag

Hi All,

So i have just installed Recal Box onto a USB stick and have it on my PC.... it loads up fine. However, when i get to the add a controller and set the buttons, when i press the button i want to link (i.e press up for up), it takes a good minute for this to register.

Current PC
AMD A6 -3670 2.70 Ghz
8gb Ram
Geforce GTX 1050

Using a standard PS3 controller.. even tried PS4, same issue.
