@jrbaka écoute, ce n'est pas que je ne veuille pas t'aider, mais on tourne en rond... Il est techniquement impossible que Recalbox s'amuse à changer tout seul ce paramètre. Donc regarde de ton côté, et/ou donne moi un peu plus de billes pour t'aider, je n'ai pas ta Recalbox sous la main et ne suis pas magicien

Hi,
I faced some wifi issues described in initial post too during beta phase.
When I'm reading this thread now, I guess my problems will persist in RC, until switching from "US" to "FR". (I plan to test RC2 this weekend if it's released and I find some time).

So my question is:
Is there any disadvantage switching to region "FR"? It seems that many users are facing issues with default setting "US", why not "FR" or some generic european region by default?

Another thing I want to ask, and I wasn't able to find in changelog unfortunately:
Can I enable "System security" in RC(2) without breaking or disabling web manager? this was an issue in 4.1 versions...

So basically "FR" code has a larger range than "US" range, but because this is a standard and to be compliant with US authorities, US is the default.

About the "system security" feature, my advice is you shouldn't enable it as it's bugged and has to be rewritten.
