[Recalbox 9] Theme Next Pixel

Hello!

J'avais créé le thème Next Level en 2017 et je me demandais si ça vous dirait de reprendre le flambeau en le mettant jour pour la dernière version de Recalbox ?

J'ai encore tous les fichiers, je n'ai juste plus le temps ni les connaissance pour le mettre à jour

Hi all!

There is an issue with the codification of the files "games.sh"
to resolve the problem you can run this command:

find . -maxdepth 1 -mindepth 1 -type d -exec sed -i 's/\r$//' {}/games.sh \;

Inside the folder:

/recalbox/share/themes/es-theme-next-pixel-v2-16x9-720p/systems/

That command will solve the exec errors. It removes bad codification that is not compatible with linux.
Too late maybe? but i just came in to this world I came from a pure Retroarch.

I also did some mod to the system to provide a much more confortable execution with just one "games.sh" on the folder that I said before, next to the file "generate_language.sh".

@sonyc I have had to modify the file comon_info.xml inside SHARE on folder themes/es-themes-next-pixel-v2-16x9-720p/gamelistviews (in my case)
Lines 23, 37, 51, 65, 80, 110
all of them with the <pos> tag to a lower value to fit properly on my screen.

@samui Thanks for the tip, I ended up doing the same thing.

Are you using this theme on a raspberry pi? When I switch between systems, I have some background "flicker" happening, which is quite annoying, even though I am using 720p on a pi5. I think this is due to how the backgrounds are randomly selected or something like that.

Hello à tous.

Je vous écris parce que le thème sur mon pi4 se lance très bien, mais le son grésille totalement. Ce qui est bizarre c'est que sur une TV aucun souci. Je branche mon pi4 à un switcher HDMI qui est branché sur une carte de capture Elgato. Ca me permet ainsi de facilement enregistrer mon écran et de streamer si j'en ai envie. Sauf que avec ce son, c'est inenvisageable. Merci d'avance.
