ADVANCEMAME does not start

Hello,
- I use recalbox release: 18.07.13 on a raspberry pi 3
- I use MAME romset 0.106
- In menu option "Edit Metadata" I choose Emulator/Core = ADVANCEMAME for my specific romfile and press on "save"
- I click on the game to start
But the emulator won't start. It goes straight back to the rom selection screen. No rom 0.106 works.
I have no problem with other romsets using FBA, IMAME4ALL, MAME2010 and MAME078. Only ADVANCEMAME romset 0.106 bugs me.
Do I need a bios file or something?
