@grinningmoon can you elaborate? I've tried your suggestions. I've tried disabled "Enable Fanart" and "Enable Trailer (Youtube)" in The Movie Database scrapper. I've tried opening System/Settings/Media Settings to disable "Allow file renaming and deletion", "Extract thumbnails and video information", "Extract chapter thumbnails", "replace file names with library titles", and "Download actor thumbnails". Nothing is working. Can you please explain what I really shoud do? Thank you

As far as I know there isn't more systems for pi3b+ than pi3b ?
Some of them might work a little better but that's all, is that what you meant ?

They aren't present on the stable RPI3b version.

With the new core mame 2003 plus, what is the button to access service mode ?
On mame 2003 it's F2, but on 2003 plus F2 do Nothing.

Is it a problem only on my side, or service mode button has been forgotten on the beta for mame2003 + ?

@choum such things come from the emulator itself and not from recalbox. Your best bet is to look into its documentation (if any) or ask in github/libretro‘s forum.

@paradadf i see what you mean... But if you want to use a beta version (with more systems) of recalbox for your coming RPi, which one will you buy ? A 3b or a 3b+ version ? in that case, the question is nonsense you'll choose the 3b+ ^^

Hotkey + B to open retroarch menu
quick menu -> options -> input interface -> simultaneous

After that you can open service mode for some roms with F2 on keyboard

@scavy : They try to explain to you : the beta isn't ONLY on Pi 3B+. That's the reason why you seems to be not enough precise.

In FBA libretro with last stable version I had all installed roms working. With beta more than half did't work anymore. I had a veryfied 0.2.97.43 romset.

Same situation with NeoGeo folder.

With beta none of the 0.2.97.43 NeoGeo roms work anymore (with last stable all worked 100%)

Finally I did another fresh install and everything worked again.

Hi,
Recalbox Wifi cannot connect to SSID which isn't broadcasting.
Once the SSID is broadcasted, the Recalbox connects just fine and remains connected as long as it is not rebooted, even if SSID is hidden after connection. But if the Recalbox reboots, it cannot connect again to the same SSID as long as it stays hidden.

J'ai un raspberry 3B+ depuis quelque temps et je suis dernièrement passé de la release où il y avait un bug avec les favoris à la release "christmas" mais depuis cet upgrade lorsque que je laisse mon raspberry allumé cela peut prendre 1h comme 1J, le raspberry plante et entraîne un bug au niveau du réseau.

Tout les appareils qui sont connectés à ce même switch ne fonctionnement plus. (J'ai testé avec un autre switch et j'ai le même soucis).

Ma configuration:

Raspberry Pi model: 3B+
Recalbox version (build) : Christmas
Matériels (Micro SD, Power Supply, etc.): Micro SD sandisk 16go, alim aukru 3a
Manette(s): Xbox 360
Overclocking: Non

L'accès à mes roms se fait depuis un partage réseau.
Elles sont bien toutes visible et je peux jouer sans soucis.

Il y à juste ces plantages aléatoires qui viennent gâcher mon plaisir lol.

J’ai ma Recalbox qui plante au démarrage, après avoir transféré un gros paquet de jeux, voici ce qu’il se passe:

J’installe la beta de Noël sur mon 3b+, tout fonctionne normalement, dès lors que j’essaie de transférer toute ma blibliotheque de roms (environ 30Go) ma Recalbox plante au démarrage :

J’ai la vidéo de démarrage, j’ai la page ES chargement puis un écran noir avec la mention de la version bêta en bas à gauche et ça reste bloqué sur cette page, plus aucune activité du Raspberry, je suis obligé de réinstaller Recalbox, un redémarrage ne suffit pas.

• J’ai essayé avec les jeux sur la carte micro SD
• J’ai essayé avec une clé USB et même problème, sauf que là pas besoin de réinstaller le système. En retirant la clé USB et en démarrant sur la carte micro SD le redémarrage fonctionne parfaitement...

Setup:

• Pi3B+
• Christmas Beta build

Issues:

• WIFI 5GHz is not working.
• Metadata is not being saved, like hide rom, last played, different core than default.
• gamelist.xml.xml gets generated in rom folders.
• daphne did not work at all.
• dolphin bar is not working, as soon as I start to calibrate, device crashes.
• Scraping is not working

Also I would like to mention, that this is the international part of the forum and it really is strange that french seems to be an international language.
There are a lot of french only discussions going on in this thread, which is very annoying because noone besides french and a couple of canadian people understand this.

As far as I can see there are subforums for all the different languages present, so why is it that only french people seem to ignore the international topic of this sepcial thread?
There are no brazilians, netherlands, turkish, hungarians, russian ... - you get it - people that are talking in their native language!?
Why does the international tag gets ignored and even more annoying, why doesnt it get moderated - but even more annoying - why do the mods even also switch over to french??

@smoerebroed because Recalbox is a french project at the beginning, and the french community is very helpfull. We respect that, and this is not printed anywhere that english MUST be the rule. We know this is the international language, but we also have a lot of respect for the french community which is one of the most active.
