since the last release, ES always crash after the introductive video (black screen with the version of the release).
I've try with a direct upgrading (from ES) first, and then I reflash my SD card with the same result.

Any idea about that issue ?

That's a favorites issue.
I've deleted all the gamelist.xml contening favorites ( <favorites>true</favorites>) and the problem is solved.

But yet, I couldn't add any favorite. Adding a favorite on ES shows the symbol of favorites (the pad) AND the barred eye, and ES crashs when I want to restart.

J'aimerais bien une traduction en français de comment faire une mise a jour quand la version bêta(j'ai la première version et je voudrait bien pouvoir mettre les suivantes sans avoir a tout re-installer), je n'es pas tout compris(moi et l'anglais sic)

@marco-polo si tu as déjà la beta, il faut juste que dans recalbox.conf tu mettes updates.type=https://review-507-b*mp-b-0jn0c0-archive-review-prod.recalbox.com pour qu'il aille chercher la mise à jour de la beta et surtout pas de la stable.

@oyyodams Oui javait installer la première bêta et justement je voudrait bien pouvoir faire la nouvelle mise a jour !
Alors j'ai fait comme tu dis et rien ne se passe, j'ai modifier le fichier "recalbox.conf" je sauvegarde, je relance ma recalbox et j'arrive a la liste des émulateurs sans que cela et fait de mise a jour ! ou alors j'ai rater quelque chose?

try to go on the root to have a specific message :
F4 to stop recalbox
Alt+F2 to open root : login "root" password "recalboxroot"
/etc/init.d/S31emulationstation start (or stop, or restart)

Hi,

I have just installed the last beta (from direct image) on my Raspberry pi3b+
It seems to works great expect adding "new content" on Kodi.

Each time I try to add a "new movies content" with Kodi, it scans my folder and at the end of the scanning it crash and return to EmulationStation. After that, I cannot launch anymore Kodi. I have to delete file with .db extension in .kodi folder correct the correct the problem and launch again Kodi.

It is a known issue?

Hi ! We are at least two (with @ignus-fast) to encounter difficulties with HDMI audio on latest X86 beta. Just to know, is it working for other people. Any idea on how to fix it ? (I tried all the available settings from the graphical interface). Thanks !!

J'ai un problème avec la nouvelle beta pour pi, dès que je veux scraper les jeux au bout de quelques roms recalbox plante "écran noir et version de la MAJ en bas".
