      first I'd like to say recalbox is awesome . I have it running on 2 usb's on my old PC . it's a Ga-ma770-us3 motherboard with a AMD phenom II x6 1090T processor and a GT218 Geforce 210 graphics card. But there is no sound at all going to the TV through the hdmi. and i have tried all the different settings in sound menu. so could someone let me know how to solve this or point me in the right direction. thanks.when I get sound working I will donate with paypal because my kids are having a ball with recalbox even without sound .

        @brutalbillx2 hi

        You'd need to ssh to your Recalbox then TERM=xterm aslamixer and enable mixers/ push the volume

          @substring I'm new to linux and I am still learning, I know what ssh is just never used it , so when I ssh to my recalbox , after i figure out how to do that , then I open a terminal and enter xterm aslamixer ? is that right or am i way off

            @brutalbillx2 connect through ssh and type the cery exact command i gave you, it's case sensible. Once mixers are raised/unmuted, you can also change the sound card in ES

                        @brutalbillx2 i'd say "make a support archive" but i'm on holidays and can't check. Maybe @OyyoDams can give a look to it

                          @substring ok thanks, and thanks for your time and I hope you have a safe holiday. In a old computer I was given I just found a slightly better graphics card , I'll slap that in and see if that might work . I will let you now how it goes .
