@airdream I have taken the liberty to create a psx theme. I have taken as reference the original box of psx (black and yellow) I would like to share it and if you like, you can include it.

For include it we need also
1- the agreement of @mrseguin who has moved internationally recently in an other country so that's why he is busy.
2- BG1 in 1080
3- BG2 in 720
4- Eventually replace the box of the console which you use for the theme
5- check about the Logos (in BG1&2) and game list in BG2, can we read all easily with the yellow part on the top?
6- Screenshot from "recalbox manager" if you can (BG1 with central band & BG2 with scrapping and gamelist)

Is it the box which inspired your theme?
Yellow is a little bit more flashy but maybe not good for police font or logo reading?

Yes, that is the box which I have been inspired. The yellow color is a little muted to facilitate the reading of the source.
The images bg1 and bg2 that I have included in the previous links are both in 1080.
The white fonts can be read perfectly on the yellow top (checked).
I can replace the blue box of psx dual shock with the original, if you wish. Only that it will be from another angle.
For now, I don't have a recalbox configured, but whatever you need don't hesitate to ask me.

The BG2 absolutely need to to be in 720 for save VRAM resources, if all BG2 were in 1080 a lot of glitches will appear (RPI3 have not enough VRAM), particularly if you have a lot of system in your recalbox.
We have also logo in black in the first revision of Mukashi. Black Logo is it more suitable in the yellow background, what do you think?
From the beginning we hoped that everyone who is interested to personalize our theme will do it here and share it, so that's why @mrseguin shared all tools and all raw files in first post.
Do you have worked with raw files? (See first post)
So if you can do it until the end and share it with a download link, we much appreciated. A simple BG1&2 here can also help everyone to replace original BG1 &2 from our theme. Do only what you want to do.
However you can chose better console box of your choice to replace the blue one (dual shock version), It will be more easy if you do it from raw file.

@airdream Yes, you can include the logo perfectly, don't worry. I have tried different sources in the yellow top, and they all work well, including pure black and pure white. (that's why I made it little muted)
Regarding bg2, I have converted it to 720 as you indicate. However, I have seen that the bg2 of the other systems are at 1080, like n64.
I have worked with photoshop, I have the file by layers, if you need it you can ask me and I upload it too.
I upload the corrected files (Original box and Bg2 in 720), so you can check them out and download if you wish.

@subvite Hi Guys, So as AirDream said I moved recently and I'm still waiting for my shipment , internet at home,....So should be fixed end of this month and I will go back to mukashi theme.To include or not in the "official" build well I'm not against it but everybody has his own preferences...That's why I include all the programs I used like this everybody can customise the theme.
As for me I followed most of the time AirDream artistical point of view because first neither I don't have particular design or artistical skills nor very good technical skill with programs that's why to create this theme was...long...and because we changed so many time our point of view...
I grew up only with intellivision, msx, atarist and amiga...later got saturn and psx but I was still more playing amiga games So to get inspirations you need to be in love with your systems ! But as I said nothing is universal in terms of taste and colours...welll

I tried it on my RPI and it looks very good,
This what it look with logo and gamelist, so white logo and gamelist font are matching with the BG

Very authentic design and spirit of the first run ps1 package (before dualshock)

J'ai téléchargé le theme hier, très bon boulot mais pour FBA Libretro ça affiche Capcom (et des jeux CPS)...
Il y a un background FBA?

On était parti du fait qu'on mettait uniquement les jeux CPS1 CPS2 et CPS3 dans Fbalibertro.
Les autres jeux arcades sont dans MAME, et Néo Géo dans son propre dossier et thème.

En effet ça ne convient pas a celui qui utilise FBALIBERTRO pour tous jeux Arcade, faudra dans ce cas éventuellement en faire un.

@airdream Je suis de retour par ici après 6 mois d'absence (j'avais le theme en version beta) et bien chapeau pour le thème il est magnifique !

Je ne sais pas si daphne sera inclus dans une prochaine MAJ, (c'est le seul système qui me manque dans ma collection ^^ ) mais prenez le temps qu'il faut surtout

@benny merci pour ton avis encourageant sur Mukashi.
Malheureusement @mrseguin n'a toujours pas internet chez lui, son déménagement (international) n'a pas été simple.
L'objectif de rendre Mukashi avec la carousel est toujours présent, soyons juste un peu patient car c'est surtout @mrseguin qui fait le gros du travail.

Hello, I want to congratulate the creator of this theme. for me one of the best I've ever seen.
as it wanted systems like CPS1, CPS2, CPS3, CHANEL F, TURBO GRAFX16 AND ATARI5200 and unfortunately these did not have. I took the liberty of doing those backgrounds.

I hope you keep working on thema, because it really is one of the best I've ever seen for recalbox.

one thing that would be cool was instead of the information being fixed in BG, could be tags in xml. hence each person would adapt to their language.
