[Theme] Clean Retro

We’re proud to present you our new Clean Retro theme. It’s been a long time we’ve wanted to make a clean theme so you could browse your collection in style! With the new theme customizer functionality, you can now choose between 5 different system views. Choose the help menu icons depending on the controller you’re using. Choose the system logos according to your country. Beautiful splash screen intro video is included. Non distractive overlays for all systems are included. A custom system list that organize all your systems is included. A custom mix image to scrape your games in high definition. New audio tracks have been added. We also remastered all audio tracks to have consistent audio level between system change. The theme is also fully compatible with any screens like CRT and smaller screens.

Petite question car j'utilise également UXS, ou as-tu trouvé ces mix ?

@toto421 Pour ceux la je pense que ce sont des styles de scrap perso adapté de FOOLSCREN , mais tu peux avoir le même style de rendu avec les MIX de scrap " FoolScreen " via le logiciel Universal XML Scraper V2.

Absolument pas... on ne peut pas utiliser les mix Foolscreen dans d'autres thèmes comme le mien! J'ai fait mes propres mix pour chaque système. J'ai seulement prit le code et la borne d'arcade de Foolscreen pour l'arcade. Cependant j'ai du modifié beaucoup de trucs pour l'adapter.

@substring Excuse moi, mais c'est écrit le contraire dans le fichier de license du thème recalbox-next. Recalbox c'est open source et vous utiliser des logos licencié. Légalement j'ai le droit de prendre un thème et de le modifier tant et aussi longtemps que mon thème reste sous la même license et open source.

Les logos licensiés ? Ce qui veut dire que toi tu as tout droit dessus ? Non non non, faut pas déconner là.

@substring Désolé je ne suis pas un professionnel des license mais peu importe si on oublie fait que j'ai mentionné les logos je te dirais que c'est tout simplement écrit sur votre gitlab que j'ai le droit. Explique moi ce que j'ai fait et que je n'ai pas le droit de faire exactement. Ton intervention n'est pas claire et je ne comprend pas. Merci.

@substring I am confused by the licensing too. Are you saying that the Recalbox-Next theme may not be modified at all or just that if a theme is a modification of Recalbox-Next you must use the same licensing terms and credit the original author(s)?

@supermagicom there is problem between the theme itself and the main readme. In anyway, you have to keep the same license and credit the recalbox team. It's regarding modifications that there is a confusion. Any way, any edit is welcome on gitlab.

@toto421 Salut toto, les mix d'images ne sont pas disponible pour l'instant car il y a un problème de copyright et je dois éditer chaque mix un à un. Donc dès que j'aurai une minute je modifierai le lien et ajouterai les mix pour UXS. Désolé du délais je comprend la déception.

Try changing the language to English. There's a known issue about this and should be fixed in the next RB update.

Best theme in my opinion!!! Congratulations

On SNES system, i try the EU version, console on main menu looks ok, but the gamepad on the top of the screen is appearing with the US version. Can you fix it?

Hi makination,

It's a known issue. When importing the svg in Photoshop the buttons of the EU controller dissapear. I didn't found a way. We currently are replacing all controller SVG on this theme and this should fix the issue
