      Hi guys,

      I am currently making tests with RetroPie/RecalBox and with one specific game for now (Sailor Moon (U)). I've noticed some differences in the rendering of the game.

      Original game:

      1a 2a

      RecalBox (PocketSNES)

      1b 2b

      Any idea why it's doing that? Is there a way to fix it?

      Thanks!

          @substring I didn't know I had other options than PocketSNES. How can I change to snes9x-next?

            Alright I've managed to change the core and it is now fixed, thanks!

            (slightly slower than PocketSNES but better graphic fidelity)

              @dotmick this can be done system-wide or rom specific. Either press select on the rom and edit metadata, either press start then go to advanced settings. On which pi are you ? Pi3 should have snes9x-next by default

                @substring Pi0. I've changed it inside recalbox.conf.

                  @dotmick oh yeah, that's a problem, snes9x-next won't run well

                        @substring said in PocketSNES (snes9x2002) rendering issues?:

                        catsfc

                        catsfc is snes9x2005 right?

                          @dotmick probably, it may have been renamed some time ago
