Psx & psp

Hi, I need advice.
I inserted some roms for psx and PSP, some games work fine, others start but it seems that the joypad is not configured. I explain better: maybe the direction keys work but the others do not work.
Before looking for the various solutions I would like to know if it depends on the BIOS or any configurations of the joypad.

@omar-gastoldi some psx games need analog inputs that need to be configured over retroarch, most don‘t. About psp, it might be somethibg similar, maybe?
