I am having problems and I need help.

Hello I have tried adding Music,Videos,Games on Recalbox and kodi but nothing has worked. I add Music to the music folder in Kodi and nothing pops up after restarting. With Roms I put them on and they show up in the area I put them in but they do not open and sometimes they open to a black screen and stay like that. Also when I try to get Add-ons on the Kodi it always says it failed the install after a couple of seconds. I was wondering if anyone could help.
