No sound on Up Squared Board

I have no sound on my Recalbox. Everytime I go to the sound settings it has the system volume at 0. Everything else works fine except there's no sound. I tried my USB stick on a different computer and it had sound so I know it has something to do with my hardware.

Any help would be appreciated.

which sound cards are listed in ES ? the volume at 0 is not such a big deal

Running the command "aplay -l" returned the following:

@grahf-0 In ES, have you tried the different sound cards ? You shoul also have a look at
TERM=xterm alsamixer(not sure about the TERM though, might be linux rather than xterm) -
@Substring couldn't really do anything with Alsamixer. It wont let me change the volume in it either.
I have tried selecting different sound settings in Emulation Station....

@grahf-0 grahf ... My worst enemy (have You played Xenogears on PS1 ? Haha)
You just changed the right mixers t have sound. Now just keep in mind that you'll have to do that againafter an upgrade, we have a bug where alsa mixers are reset to default upon upgrade -
I thought that was a picture of Fei. Xenogears is definitely one of the best. I've played it a couple times....
