3.5mm Audio/Video Jack Problem
-
Hello, I want to connect the raspberry pi through connector 3.5 jack. But I get only sound and no video, I need some settings?
-
No, you might have the wrong cable. I needed to buy 2, one doesnt work at all. (Was a cheap one for apple devices), the second does work, however, i had to switch red (Audio Right) with yellow (Video) on my tv to get it running. At a second TV, I also need to use a Scart Adapter, otherwise the picture is only Black and White.

-
The cable wokr, i tested So, i dont know if you can tell me whats is wrong with the config.txt
-
Finally, i just have to reinstall the OS, in noob you change the format of the TV, and install and work just fine. the config.txt put that on the bottom

Hi, if you look closely at the link i gave you, it's exactly what i tell you to do :
comment all lines begining with hdmi_
sdtv_mode=2 hdmi_ignore_hotplug=1
An i explain the different modes for sdtv.

Yes, I did that , use the wiki you passed me . But I could not make it work . With a new installation, and run the NOOBS from the RCA , and it worked without problemse

That's because you did not commented all hdmi lines in your config.txt : at the end : # NOOBS Auto-generated Settings: hdmi_force_hotplug=1 config_hdmi_boost=4
