Ran Out of Space for Scraping (Weird Issue)

My machine just started doing something weird. When I go to scrap new images, it tells me "Error Saving Resized Image. Out of Memory? Disk Full? Even though my sd card is not even close to full.

The only different thing I have done to my machine is that I tried (unsuccessfully) to change the root password. I followed @Substring 's suggestion (found here: https://forum.recalbox.com/topic/4691/change-root-password/2) to run:

mount -o remount, rw /
passwd

Then change the password. Now I can't save scraps..... what did I do to my systems permissions?

Update, only the roms that I added AFTER I tried to change root password, are unable to be scraped. Basically, all are megadrive/genesis roms.

It's fixed! Seems like it had nothing to do with my permissions shenanigans then?
