gamecube games cant play

Hi, I run some games in gamecube and in the screen appear message to save state in card or something similar and the controller doesnt work and i cant continue to play ...

the message is:
"the memory card in slot a is formatted for another market"

and i cant select options

Hi Jackalpret,

I have the same problems on pc x64 and recalbox 4.1. The same message and my pad doesn't work with any games.
The pad works on Dreamcast / N64 ...

If someone has the solution.

@dameron i found the solution !!
uSA games doesnt work. Only europe version of the games.

Doesn't work for me. All games are Europe version.
The game starts but the controller doesn't work
