Solved controller issues with psx emulator

so im using the psx emulator and cant get it to work with my xbox 360 controller or xbox one controller. i bought a Beboncool controller to and just like the others it wont sense the right joystick all of the other buttons work fine. if anyone else has had this problem please tell me and help the best you can thank you .

@kingofsteam which game are you trying ? are you sure it is using the right joystick ?

@kingofsteam you are teying with a game with special control settings needed. Look for ape escape on the forum and you‘ll see the exact configuration you need on retroarch to make it playable.
