How to set n64 aspect ratio to 4/3?

Hi - I'm having trouble setting my n64 aspect ratio to 4/3. ES runs at HD which is fine, but n64 always goes to full-screen HD. Here are some settings I have:

recalbox.conf:
n64.videomode=CEA 1 HDMI

mupen64plus.cfg
Fullscreen = False
ScreenWidth = 640
ScreenHeight = 480
AspectRatio = True
VerticalSync = False

ES Games Settings > Game Ratio: 4/3

What am I missing or what am I not understanding?

@zetabyte Why have you changed tue videomode ? THe default value is DMT 4 as far as i remember

@substring I was just trying different options. I changed it back to DMT 4 and the problem still exists.

I assume my problem has to do with some combination of video config options and the settings in advanced emulator configurations, but I can't seem to figure it out.
