Unsolved slow, braking system
-
do you have a yellow "flash" icone on the top right of your screen ?
-
-
@rockaddicted
does this micro sd fit? -
32gb ? nope it is ok.
I really don't know.
You roms are on USB or SD card ?The known issue about these kind of problems on a clean install are :
- power supply issue (the yellow 'lightning" icone on top right of the screen)
- bad sd card (chinese copy with bad transfer rate)
- overclock unsupported on rpi
I don't have any new ideas... @Substring and you ?
-
@rockaddicted
without overclocking, the problem is the same.
sd card is good. everything is on sd card.
"overclock unsupported on rpi" what do you mean? -
@edvis each rpi react differently to overclock. Sometimes once enabled system become slow, unstable etc...
-
@Edvis Hi you use crt tv? I have the same problem onli in crt tv, hdmi works great.
-
@jeevuz hello, yes I use the crt TV, tired already to solve this problem.

@edvis So you have problems since you're on CRT ? Well, @jeevuz hada great idea ! How are you connected ? Do you have "really many" roms ? where do the slowdowns happen ? Can you make a support archive by going to http://recalbox/help ?
-
@substring There is no difference how many Roms, on one sd card there are Roms, on the second sd card only standard roms. the problem is the same. the problem arises immediately at boot, the cross triangle and the square are rotated slowly and the sound is slow. slow sound in the menu and slow games. Yes I use crt tv.
your link http://recalbox/help does not open -
@substring
slow in all Roms -
Guys if you are using an "exotic" setup you must tell us. Crt screen on composite is about 1% of users.
Anyway, it is a good point to catched that.
To be able to on this address your rpi must be connected on your local network.
You can generate manually an archive support by ssh.
Please look this wiki: https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/Recalbox-support-(EN) -
@edvis you need to connect your Pi to the Network. If you're using a mac then try http://recalbox.local/help
I have used a 4.1 on CRT using the composite cable, had absolutely no problem. So can you detail your full setup ?
-
I'm using too a 4.1 plugged on rca to my car screen to play mario kart while driving, and no issue.
-
@rockaddicted except when you see a blue shell coming at you in the rear window
-
-
@edvis Could you comment
audio_pwm_mode=2
in your config.txt and reboot ? -
@substring I'm shocked, wow, everything worked, thank you very much.
