      I upgraded my recalbox to 4.01 and saw a twitter post that 4.1 can be installed on top of it.

      Where can I get the 4.1 unstable version and what is the steps to install it or Is it the same standard way of installing it to a freshly formatted SD card?

      cheers

        @tdelios You must set your update.type to unstable in recalbox.conf:<https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/recalbox.conf-(EN)

          @tdelios Read the blog 😉 http://www.recalbox.com/blog/blog-2017-02-19-rb4.1

          But we're facing some difficulties on the upgrade process. I'd recommend you wait for a few days. This release if for open testing and bug reports, not fun and pleasure 🙂

            @DjLeChuck said in How To Obtain 4.1 Unstable Version:

            recalbox.conf

            I did what said 2 months ago and it worked out great..
            This week I had to do it again for another reaspberry Pi3 and updated the updates.type=unstable in the recalbox.conf file on a 4.0.2 version.. But once I rebooted, it never prompted me that an update was available in order to jump to 4.1 like it used to when I was on 4.0.1
