Loading save states from Atari 2600

Hi I'm running recalbox 4.0 on a raspberry pi 3 and it has been working great since Xmas, put some Atari 2600 games on last night and now psx and other consoles are trying to load the save files from the Atari 2600 save folder have checked the retroarch config and is showing as the root save folder anyone know a solution for this any help will be greatly appreciated, also it's not loading the scraped images anymore and just showing the list of games again

Forgot to mention I'm running the games off a USB stick
