Power switch for Pi Zero
-
Hey all,
I know there are plenty of topics similar to this one however I couldn't find what I was looking for through them so I am asking here.
I am building a Recal Box for my 4 year old Nephew for Christmas. I have everything ready to assemble, the PI has all the software loaded and working, a custom 3d printed case for the PI, a USB hub for multiplayer, however the last piece I need to figure out is the power switch (as a 4 year old likely doesn't have the same patience I do to properly turn off the system).Ive come across a few options:
http://www.instructables.com/id/Simple-Raspberry-Pi-Shutdown-Button/
https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/Add-a-start-stop-button-to-your-recalbox-(EN)However they arn't for the Zero (i think) and i simply don't know enough about circuity to know if these solutions would work for me. Does anyone know of a prebuilt on/off switch for the Pi Zero? Or a link to a DIY for the Zero that wouldnt require too much circuitry knowledge?
Thanks in advance

@Substring I've come across that link (as stated above) but I was under the impression that it was for older PI's since the image says its for B/B+. Am I right to assume that it works the same way with the Zero? Again sorry if its a dumb question, I know very little about connecting wires and the like.

I'm not aware of anyone trying this on a pi0. But it has been tboroughly tested on pi3, which has the same pin layout. It's very to check anyway
