Disk and cassette games on MSX 1 & 2

If I'm not mistaken, today it's only possible to play cartridge games on the msx platform ?

BlueMSX in its pc windows version seems to support at least disk games not sure if this functionnality is in the libretro version for pi ?

So is it possible bd if not will it be one day ?
