Button not working in libretro FBA

When I try to play a game in the libretro FBA emulator, only the start button works--A and B do not. The joystick does work. These buttons work perfectly in the NES emulator. Any thoughts?

Guessing the config file hasn't been setup for it.  If you can manually map buttons in the config file for fba or run the setup program for it, it might help.
