Graphic problems with nestopia core

Nestopia Core works better than the default, but i have some graphic problems, because the option of overscan cropping doesnt work, and games like super mario looks terrible, with a color bar in the left, and a glitch bar in the right. How can i make this overscan option work? Its a bug of retroarch?
