N64 is not working
-
So after thousands of tries to config it the right way and many many read solutions which should fix my problem, I got absolutely no idea why I can't play any N64 games on my system. My problem is simple: I try to play any N64 games and all I get is a black screen for some seconds and then it returns to the emulator screen, with decreased screen resolution. I've tried many times to change the config files. Nothing helped. I tried in on my TV and on my PC Screen, no change. Log file is really poor, I don't get any useful information. I'm using Raspberry Pi 2 with Recalbox 4.0.0 Beta 3. btw: I'm really tired cause it took me many hours and weeks to fix that problem and I tried everything what I could found but nothing helped.

Hello @sven-heisenberg what gamepad are you ? have you mapping L AND R Button ? can you try another rom ? can you use only *.n64 format ? zip is not compatible.
-
I'm using a Xbox360 Controller and I've mapped L and R Buttons. I tried MArio Kart 64 and others, too... They are all in .n64 format

Hummm ok so if it is not a rom or controller problem. That can only be a video mode issue. Please check this wiki : https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/N64-%3A-return-to-ES-(EN) Ps: about your xbox360 controller, did you activated xboxdrv driver in your recalbox.conf file ?
-
Yes, xboxdrv driver is activated.. I've allready checked this wiki page https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/N64-%3A-return-to-ES-%28EN%29 but it didn't help me...

Hummm so I don't know. Issues about N64 are : - roms - video mode - exotics controllers So recheck these points. Something must not be ok. FYI I'm using xbox360 wireless gamepads + video plugin GlideN64 + video mode DMT 4 without any problems.

Can you launch this script
/recalbox/scripts/recalbox-support.sh
, upload the generates archive (ex : on zippyshare) then give us the link. -
Sure, here you go: http://www111.zippyshare.com/v/Sl1qpioM/file.html

Humm are you sure to have a rpi2 ? Because your recalbox.arch file say you have a rpi1. N64 emulation is only available on rpi2/3, not rpi0/1.

yep rpi1 B+
