USB Controller fails after 5 mins

Howdy,

I have two usb iNNEXT SNES controllers plugged into my Raspberry Pi 3b and after about 5 mins the second controller stops responding. Recalbox stops recognizing it is even plugged in and since this is the second round of controllers, I am pretty sure the fault is on the board's side. Anybody run into this issue before, do I just need to go buy a new board? I really am a novice here, is there some way to see if there is a fault with the USB ports?

@tacticalsnail In the Main Menu go to "Controller Settings", "Configure A Controller" and then do the Button Mapping for your Controller.
Have you tried other controls to make sure the problem is not in the controls?
