Games will no longer boot

Hi,
I’m running recalbox on a raspberry pi3, and my roms from an external hard drive.

Was running ok, it’s a relatively new install I made, playing a snes game became very slow and laggy, and now no games will load from any system, just goes to a black screen then back the ES.

Also, switching the storage to back to the sd card, games stored on there will load fine but no sound.

Short of doing another fresh install, any ideas as to what the problem may be?

• start recalbox
• launch a rom
• make a support archive once you're back in ES ?
