i have the same issue.
what i see / what i have done:
- after the start, on the menue where we can select the emulation station i entered the settings and set some recommended shaders and scanlines. dissabled the smoothing and pixel perfect.

[INGAME the directory inside the shaders for load/save was empty, no shaders or any files where shown]

anyway. nothing changes. Restart didnt resolve my issue.
