I see, since the 4.0.0 Beta 1 you dont have to configure the N64 or the controller manually by yourself.

RE: A general "thank you" :)
Hey sag, what happens when you try to start an N64 game? You have to configure a few things manually in the config file like the N64 core you want to use. The second thing is the controller which is not configured from the beginning as well. You have to set up your buttons manualy as well. But first of all: what happens when you try to start N64?

RE: Is wifi possible?
I had the same issue. I was able to fix it by editing the config file via putty from my computer (using ethernet for the connection of course). Whenever I typed my wifi-password in, it was gone the very next moment, so was my ssid. I was able to fix this by doing the following:
- connect your Pi with your desktop-computer via ethernet
- edit the config file manually by typing in your ssid, your wifi password and setting wifi.enabled=1
- remember 2 things:
- delete the ";" infront of those lines, thats the reason why it didnt work for me the first time
- after you get an recalbox update, the config file is NOT getting updated automatically (as far as I can say), thats the reason why it didnt work for me the second time
I hope I could help.

RE: Help please wifi not working tried everything
You can edit the wifi settings either in the menu of recalbox or you can change the settings in the config file.

A general "thank you" :)
Dear community, dear developers, I use my Raspberry Pi as a recalbox for a few months now and all I can say is: thank you! After my N64 was sold by my not-so-smart sibling I thought I'd had to play my favourite games on PC-emulators with a keyboard. Now I got my recalbox and am playing my all-time favourite games with "real" controls since 11 years and it feels just like it was back in the good old days. After a little bit of troubleshooting it works like a charm and there are just a little bit of changes I would suggest for the future. Therefore, I just wanted to use this forum to thank you all to bring my heroes back to my place. Your work shall be honored!

RE: Connecting to Wi-Fi doesn't work :/
I'd like to do that but there comes the next problem: whenever I try to open the terminal (as discribed in https://github.com/digitalLumberjack/recalbox-os/wiki/Root-access-on-terminal-(EN)) the screen stays black and the only thing I can do is rebooting by ctrl+alt+del. I tried all possible combinations I found to open the terminal but either nothing happens or the screen just turns black.

Connecting to Wi-Fi doesn't work :/
Good day everyone, I just got my recalbox for some good fun times. But everytime I want to connect the raspi2 to my wifi-network nothing happens. I do the following steps: 1: typing in SSID (3 words, 2 empty spaces, no symbols) 2: typing in the wifi key (numbers and letters, no symbols) 3: activating wifi-connection After that I can wait for hours. Whenever I return to the Network-menue the SSID is gone and I have to type it back in. The password stays. I am using the EDIMAX Wlan-Stick Rasp EW-7811UN. I was already looking for an answer in this forum but couln'd find any working solution.
