    • RE: Audio Not Working for x86

Thanks for the info. I am trying to vi /etc/asound.conf but its read-only. Do I need to boot into single mode to edit?

      Here is a mount output.

      mount

sysfs on /sys type sysfs (rw,nosuid, nodev, noexec, relatime)
none on /dev type devtmpfs (rw,relatime,size=3788800k,nr_inodes=947200,mode=755)
      /dev/sda2 on / type ext4 (ro,relatime,errors=remount-ro,data=ordered)
devpts on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,relatime,gid=5,mode=620,ptmxmode=000)
tmpfs on /dev/shm type tmpfs (rw,relatime,mode=777)
tmpfs on /tmp type tmpfs (rw,relatime)
tmpfs on /var type tmpfs (rw,relatime)
tmpfs on /run type tmpfs (rw,relatime)
      /dev/sda1 on /boot type vfat (ro,relatime,fmask=0022,dmask=0022,codepage=437,iocha**et=iso8859-1,shortname=mixed,errors=remount-ro)
      /dev/sda3 on /recalbox/share type ext4 (rw,noatime,data=ordered)

    • Audio Not Working for x86

I know I'm going against the grain here, but I am trying to get http://recalbox.remix.free.fr/ this installed on an HP Probook 430 G3 laptop. The audio worked when I plug into the 3.5m jack, but it wont output through HDMI or the Laptop speakers. I kinda expected the laptop speakers to not work, but Ive had other laptops audio work in Lakka so I hoped for the best. Without looking into the exact audio devices, I know the audio is using Conexant High-Definition, if it matters.

How might I get the audio working for HDMI or laptop speakers? Thanks!

    • RE: Invalid Partition Table!

I was trying to install on a Dell Inspiron 3558 Laptop i3-6001U with Intel HD Graphics 5500. It was a black friday deal, and I figured I could make a portable setup for Recalbox and play it on any TV. I returned that laptop and found another.

The new laptop (HP ProBook 430 G3 (i5/HD520) which did boot from 32GB USB, but it doesn't support SD boot, which is a b*mmer. At least it booted though, so I guess this is/was some sort of hardware problem with the Dell, as stated.

    • RE: Invalid Partition Table!

I was using the x86 64 to boot off a USB, based on the instruction off the link I posted before. I also get this error when using the SD boot though, again using the instruction on my last link. Thank you.

    • Invalid Partition Table!

I am trying to install Recallbox on a new dell laptop, and no matter what I keep running into an error when booting to either the SD card, or USB that says "Invalid partition table!".

I have tried both methods on creating the USB or SD from the link below. I have also used two different USB cards, but just one SD card. https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/Installation-(EN)

I will mention, I currently have Lakka installed on the internal 1TB hard drive of this laptop, so Im curious if that is causing an issue. However, like I said, I get this error when booting from either of the USBs or SD card.

      Any help is appreciated!
