    • RE: 4th USB controller not supported

      I continue with the topic.. More clues... I have gotten a bluetooth remote and it happens exactly the same... even with a keyboard: When I connect 4 input devices, whatever they are, it goes into a loop of connecting and disconnecting devices? Doesn't it happen to you? Can someone who uses 4 controllers please confirm that it works for him???

    • RE: 4º mando USB no admitido

    • 4th USB controller not supported

      Hi everyone!!

      With the help of Mr. Santa Claus I have made this machine for 4 players:

      Captura.JPG

      Components:
      Raspberry Pi 4 Model B 4GiB
      Official Raspberry 5V 3A transformer
      Recalbox 8.1.1-Electon for Raspberry PI 4/400
      Launch: 2022-08-12
      4 x DragonRise Inc. Generic USB Joystick featuring Zero Delay LED USB Encoder

      I install Recalbox from the Raspberry PI imager (or by downloading the ISO and loading it) and everything works fine except the 4th controller that connects via USB (whatever of the 4)

      I've connected via SSH and seeing the messages when connecting the first three controllers logs their correct connection, but connecting to the fourth starts to log a lot of non-stop USB connections and disconnections until finally leaving only 3 of them configured:

      In recalbox.conf there are only these three lines for reference:

      emulationstation.pad0=03000000790000000600000010010000:DragonRise inc. Generic USB Joystick
      emulationstation.pad1=03000000790000000600000010010000:DragonRise inc. Generic USB Joystick
      emulationstation.pad2=03000000790000000600000010010000:DragonRise inc. Generic USB Joystick

      I have tried to add a 4th line for "pad3" but the behavior is the same.

      It comes to enumerate 90 connections-disconnections:

      Jan 1 01:02:08 RECALBOX user.info kernel: [ 131.605150] usb 1-1.2: USB disconnect, device number 90

      I've tried other emulator systems for Raspberry and all 4 controllers work fine, but Recalbox is the emulator I like and am used to, and I wish I could get the 4th controller to work. Any ideas what else I could try?

      Thanks greetings!

    • RE: interfaz usb da conflicto, no conmuta 2 jugadores

      Hola! No soy experto, pero si el mismo problema sucede en los tres sistemas diferentes que comentas parece algo hardware.

      Se me ocurre que puedes probar a arrancar Recalbox con un solo mando, conectarte por ssh, hacer "dmesg" o "tail -f /var/log/messages" y conectar el segundo mando, para ver si el sistema operativo loga algún error que te pueda dar una pista de lo que está sucediendo.

      Saludos!!

    • 4º mando USB no admitido

      Hola a tod@s!!

      Con la ayuda del señor papá Noel me he hecho esta máquina para 4 jugadores:

      Captura.JPG

      Componentes:
      Raspberry PI 4 modelo B 4GiB
      Transformador oficial Raspberry 5V 3A
      Recalbox 8.1.1-Electon for Raspberry PI 4 / 400
      Released: 2022-08-12
      4 x DragonRise inc. Generic USB Joystick que cuentan con codificador USB LED de retardo cero

      Instalo Recalbox desde Raspberry PI imager (o descargando la ISO y cargándola) y todo funciona ok excepto el 4º mando que conecte por USB (sea cual sea de los 4)

      He conectado por SSH y viendo el messages cuando conectas los tres primeros mandos se loga su conexión correcta, pero al conectar el cuarto comienza a logar un montón de desconexiones y conexiones USB sin parar hasta que finalmente deja solo 3 de ellos configurados:

      En recalbox.conf solo figuran estas tres líneas en referencia:

      emulationstation.pad0=03000000790000000600000010010000:DragonRise inc. Generic USB Joystick
      emulationstation.pad1=03000000790000000600000010010000:DragonRise inc. Generic USB Joystick
      emulationstation.pad2=03000000790000000600000010010000:DragonRise inc. Generic USB Joystick

      (he probado a añadir una 4ª linea para "pad3" pero el comportamiento es el mismo.

      Llega a enumerar 90 conexiones-desconexiones:

      Jan 1 01:02:08 RECALBOX user.info kernel: [ 131.605150] usb 1-1.2: USB disconnect, device number 90

      He probado con otros sistemas emuladores para Raspberry y funcionan los 4 mandos sin problemas, pero Recalbox es el emulador que me gusta y al que estoy acostumbrado, y me gustaría poder hacer funcionar el 4º mando ¿Alguna idea de qué más podría probar?

      GRACIAS, saludos!
