    • RE: TankStick & TurboTwist2

I'm still looking for a solution (some help) on this please. I suspect it has to do with the mame2003 configuration file. The output of dev is below, and the output is below (with mouse0 being the TurboTwist2):

      drwxr-xr-x 4 root root 380 Jan 1 1980 .

@substring I have read your answer, and thank you. I wonder though, how does the trackball work in the tankstick if mice are not supported?

      Thanks again for your time,
      Mark

@voljega Let me clarify. I purchased the following and put all components together along with the most recent (3/16/18) Recalbox software:

      • Raspberry Pi 3
      • Tank Stick
      • HiFiberry
      • Cabinet kit from RecRoomMasters.com
      • 32gb micro SD card
      • Coin door
      • Monitor
      • etc., etc.

As you can see, I put together a game machine using Recalbox, as everyone else on these forums have. I did NOT purchase a preconfigured/preassembled system as your post assumes. The Tankstick (with track ball) works just fine, but I've added a TurboTwist2 to the Tankstick assembly. The trackball works as a mouse would, so I assume I can use the TurboTwist2 in it's place as needed or as an additional controller.

      Looking for advise please.

      Thanks,
      Mark

    • TankStick & TurboTwist2

      Hello,

I am new here so please excuse my ignorance, should I be asking an already answered question. I recently built a Recalbox cabinet that is working very well (thank you developers)! I'm using a new tank stick, where I have added a TurboTwist 2 to the top of the panel, to play games such as Arkanoid, etc., on MAME. I have connected the controller to the IC board, then ran the USB cable to the Raspberry Pi. The Pi sees the controller, as I can see movement using the command: cat /dev/input/mouse0 and "twisting" the controller.

My problem is, I don't know how to get EmulationStation to recognize the controller in setup.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
