    • Probleme apres mise a jour

"your system is up to date"
"It looks like your systems configuration file has not been set up or is invalid.

      INIT cannot execute "/sbin/reboot"

    • RE: Cant you install and configure recalbox on a usb drive?

Just for info, there exists software to enable reading/writing on ExtFS partition (like the one with the roms for recalbox).

I've tried the trial version (30 days I think) of the one called extFS by Paragon. It works perfectly. I think the full version is approx 40$

There are free software that permits also to do that, namely OSXFuse but it seemed a bit less user friendly, I did not try it.

    • RE: find old build?

I'm on my pc using usb bootable key.
      I have :

      • in the menu, sometimes it would hang for few seconds (no possibility to go up or down or push any button).
      • some times i press a button or a direction on the pad nad it crashes and displays a black screen with "Loading REcalbox" which never ends.

I never had that with the previsou version. I tried two different usb keys with fresh install on two different computers.

The problem seem similar to that guys

      Thanks

PS: if anyone has a imange for 18.03.36 I can do some report to double check and be sure of what I'm reporting on 18.04.20

@paradadf 18.04.20 I assumed removing the common prefix was clear enough.
      sorry

      Oh yeah?
This is sad. It could be really of use to diagnose issues.
I'm pretty sure 4.20 has a problem on x86 64 bits. Tried several fresh installs on differents usb sticks.

I'm sure that many people still have it somewhere on their HD (d**n, I deleted mine a week ago...). If someone has it (the x86 64 bits version) and has ways to make it available for me to DL, I'm really happy.

      Thanks

    • RE: Partition Usb Key

Ok Thanks for this answer. This is a good trick never thought of that.
I might even not need the second usb key as kodi has access to the harddrive on the pc, that also coutains the rom.

    • Partition Usb Key

      Hello,
Sorry if this has been asked before, could not find it.
I'm using recalbox on my pc with a bootable usb key. This is fantastic.
It is using my PC'w wifi to access the network.
I find it a pain to transfer my roms through Wifi, I was wondering if the following was possible : partition the usb key, save 8Go to install the system and having the rest as a data partition with just the roms.

-If it is posible would it affect negatively the performances?
-I'm using osx do you know how to partition a usb key easily?
-What format should I use for the data partition?

Thx a lot for your answers
