I have my Recalbox sd card in a card reader, and am trying to copy roms to the roms folder through Ubuntu. Its not allowing me to write to the folder . How do I change permissions ?

I'm trying to set up bezel art for Mame / FBA Liberto without much success . I have downloaded packs with config and zip.cfg files. Not sure if they are for Retroarch on Recalbox, could anyone point me to a link for the right files ?

Ive created two folders - \RECALBOX\share\overlays\mame and \RECALBOX\share\overlays\mame\fba_libretro . Ive placed the .png .cfg and .zip.cfg files into both . Ive tested a few where I have a rom name that matches overlay files , and all it does is move the display to from centre to the right of the screen without the bezel art.

Can anyone tell me where I am going wrong ?

Is it possible to have a Recalbox install in other locations i.e usb, external drive or network ? I may have read about it being possible with Retropie and software called berryboot. I live in a large house and have Pi's set up at either end as media centre's, it would be great if they could boot from the same install so if I ever make changes to it, it will appear on both .

Is it possible to set up Recalbox where it will randomly load MAME games ? . I'm still getting used to this system, but on my windows PC based frontend, I had it set to do this when it was on but not in use . I have a games cab I built a few years ago and its cool to just leave it and see it cycle through all the old arcade games attract modes

@substring Not sure if this a genuine image, It was downloaded from a site that has a collection of recalbox images. The SD is sandisk ultra 64 . I typed mount into the command line ( is this what you meant ?) and got this result -

Hey guys

Newbie to Recalbox here, although Ive been into emulation for years with frontends like Gameex and Hyperspin on the PC. Love the simplicity of Recalbox and I am going to change my arcade cabinet over to the system.

Ive installed a 32gb ready to go image , but am having some problems

1 - Web UI ( LOVE IT !! ) is great but I cant seem to access my individual rom folders . When I click on one the accessing graphic spins around forever and doesnt list the contents

2 - Went for update and am getting an error occured - downloaded.

3 - Checked the installed image through SSH . Its on a 64gb SD, but says used space is around 24GB leaving 1.8GB usable . I formated the card exfat pre install and copied image to card with win32 imager.
